|Position||Regional Commercial Industry Manager, Plastics|
Ms. Laurance holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in marketing, from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. She has worked at BASF for over ten years in commercial roles, with industry experience in pigments for plastics, automotive, personal care, and consumer goods.
At BASF, she started in active ingredient sales for the personal care industry, calling on west coast accounts. She quickly moved to key account management and focused on the largest global account for the business. Following her time in personal care, she worked in a corporate role on the Connecting the Dots® program. She managed the program and relationship with BASF and Fortune 100 companies to connect the right people and technologies from various BASF business units with multiple touchpoints at the customer. Since September 2016, she has been working in her current role as marketing manager for the global Colors and Effects business. Within pigments for plastics, she regionally supports the North American business as well as has globally responsibility for the BASF – Pantone® collaboration and fibers strategy.
