Paul joined Deceuninck in October of 2005. As current Director of the materials research department he develops all compound formulations used for internal, product growth (primarily window and door profile extrusions), and also for external compound sales. P
rior to 2005 he worked for Rohm and Haas as a Research Group Leader specializing in synthesis of lubricant and stabilizer additives for vinyl applications. During his tenure he developed many patents focused on new stabilizer technology receiving the Otto Haas Scientific Achievement Award in 2001. Moreover, he worked for Procter and Gamble as an organic chemist developing functionalized peptide molecules designed as protease inhibitors. In 1994 he received a P & G polymer science achievement award for studying the function of temporary wet strength resins.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Miami University (Oxford, OH) in 1990.
